This is an FDA approved treatment process that relieves pain and heals soft tissue by using extremely small amounts of electrical current (millionths of an amp) to mimic the electrical signals which occur naturally when the body is repairing damaged tissues. By applying similar electrical currents through microcurrent therapy, the healing process is enhanced.

All horses at Grouse Butte Ranch that are used on a regular basis, have the following areas treated:
Hocks - Pasterns - Suspensories - Hamstrings -Neck/Shoulders - Sacrum Lumbar area - Tuber Coxia - Back/Loin
The areas above receive the microcurrent with the roller ball incorporating a massage and contact plates placed on the area of concern.
As part of their "spa" treatment, the horses wear a "Light Cap" that was developed to help the cranial and upper cervical areas, which are two of the most important areas of the horse's body.
